Synopsis: The greatest fighter in all the land, Barack Obama, fights his way to the presidency.

Obama: The True Story is a short film my high school friends and I made in the fall of 2018 over the course of two weeks. This was a school project, the task was to create a short film based on Shakespeare’s Macbeth but about a current politician. It was a big hassle to try to get everyone’s schedules lined up and we only ended up filming this in about two days in two locations (my house and a friend’s house).

I directed, wrote, and edited it with some script edits by Spencer Culotta, Noah Joerin, Angel Orozco, Joshua Placko, and Wesley Mullens. Angel, Wesley, and I came up with the story and I ended up banging out the script in a day. A lot of this differs from the script since we didn’t have time (a lot of the fight scenes had to be trimmed). Overall a very bad short film but a very fun experience!
